Overview The SwitchView IP 1020 Remote Access Device from Avocent® provides an on-board Web interface that gives small to medium size businesses convenient, secure, browser-based access to existing KVM switches and servers. The incorporated Java™ video viewer supports Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Firefox and Netscape on Windows®, Linux® and Mac® OS X platforms. It allows you to select DES, 3DES, AES or 128-bit SSL encryption for keyboard, mouse and video. With this solution, you also get to utilize the Dambrackas Video Compression® (DVC) algorithm for high quality video and gain a local port for convenient connectivity to the KVM switch or server.
